When you publish a dataset or study and a reviewer approves it, the files they mark public become hosted by BCILattice. Their bytes stop counting against your storage, and the upload it used is refunded to your monthly allowance — so you can keep publishing to the community without ever filling up your plan. You keep full authorship and provenance; you just stop paying storage (or spending uploads) for what you share.
What do paid plans actually add?
Signal processing and model training always run on your own CPU or GPU, no compute charges, ever. Paid plans add cloud storage, team sharing, model export, peer publishing, and governance tools. Your bill never depends on how much you analyze. And once your dataset or study is approved for the community, BCILattice hosts the published files, so they never count against your storage.
